Camo Vests and Hidden Flasks
Erika and Phil made the trek back to Delaware/Pennsylvania from Chincoteague to bring their family together on this special day. The weather was perfect and the scenery was spectacular.
Did you ever think you could make camo classy? Well Phil and his groomsmen did! They wore it with style. It paired nicely with Erika's boots! Yes, the beautiful bride rocked her leather riding boots under all that white! Footwear was a huge surprise from almost every bride! Boots to flip flops to sneakers to stilettos.. The ladies chose their shoes wisely.
The love in Phil's eyes was uncomparable to anything I have seen in a groom before. There was such a connection! The ceremony was short and sweet with the pouring of the sands into one vase, and before I knew it we were off to the reception site!
The Claymont Fire Hall was beautifully decorated with their names projected onto the wall and hay bales supporting photographs of loved ones and other trinkets. Upon entering the foyer, a beautiful wire tree stood and leaves were strewn about the table. Each guest wrote their name on a leaf and hung it from the tree. As the guests arrived, the tree behaved as if it was defying the seasons and actually gained life as the leaves were hung. The small details made this wedding so spectacular. The hot cider station was a must at any fall wedding!
The party raged on and the farewell gifts were placed on the table - homemade apple butter! How perfect. Where once were leaves, now were jars of this delicious spread. What a great way to go out! So much love to this happy couple from down south!
